Hello! well Im back from the beautiful seaside village of Inverloch scottish in name but not very scottish in person.
We had a wonderful time relaxing with beach walks and cafe visits and just general wandering around the town.
The weather was magnificent and the first real sign that summer is just around the corner. It was real shorts and thong (the feet kind!) weather.
This weeks challenge is portrayal/Abblid hosted by the lovely Ariane.
I decided through photoessays to try and portray the character and personality of the little town of Inverloch. It may be small but its history and character packed a big punch in evoking childhood memories of hot and hazy summer holidays, camping and caravans, swimming and fishing, eating fish and chips and icecream. Such a wonderful blend of welded metal forms, concrete, sand and wilderness.

If you would like to see more portrayals just visit Arianes blog and follow the links.

If you would like to see more pics of my trip you can find them on my instagram site here.

Have a wonderful week

Helen x

if I ever visit Australia again
I would love to see it's coast

Fantastic portrayal of Inverloch, dear Helen!
I wether was in Scotland nor Australia but I have 'appetite' to visit both :)
Your pictures shows a kind of wildness... nearly erotic... on the other side the strong graphic patterns. Great! Thank you very much!

x Ariane.

It never fails to awe inspire me the red centre is in a league of its own Patrice but the coastal regions are pretty impressive too.
